About these tools
Are these tools really free?
Yes — every tool on this page is free, with no account, no watermark and no export limit. They cost us almost nothing to run because they run on your device, not on our servers. The paid part of MumenLabs is separate: pages you publish and share, priced once, never by subscription.
Do my files get uploaded anywhere?
No. The compressing, resizing and converting all happen inside your browser tab, so the file never leaves your device and there is nothing for us to store or delete. The practical limit is your own hardware rather than an upload cap: a phone will slow down on a several-hundred-page PDF where a laptop will not.
Why are there so many pages for the same tool?
Because the job is usually a specific number, not a general one. "Compress an image" is vague; "get this under 50 KB because the form rejects anything bigger" is the actual task, and so is "600x600 for the DV lottery" or "4x6 at 300 DPI for a print shop". Each of those pages opens the same engine with the target already set, so you do not have to work out the settings.
Do I need an account to use them?
No. Nothing on this page asks you to sign in. An account only matters for the services that publish something at a URL — a wedding site, a link-in-bio page, an event ticket — because those have to belong to someone.
