Free codes are static — the destination is fixed once you print. A dynamic QR code points at a short link you can re-point any time, with scan analytics.

About the vCard QR Code Generator

Fill in your name, phone, email, company, and website, and this tool encodes a standard vCard 3.0 into the QR code. When someone scans it, their phone opens an “Add contact” sheet pre-filled with your details — ideal for a business card, name badge, or email signature. The card is assembled in your browser and encoded directly into the pattern, so nothing is stored on our end. Download a vector SVG so it prints crisply at any size on a card.

Frequently asked questions

What happens when someone scans my vCard QR code?

Their phone recognises the contact card and offers to save it — name, phone, email, company, title and website all populate automatically, with no typing.

How much information can I include?

Add as much or as little as you like: first and last name, phone, email, organisation, job title, and a website. Empty fields are simply left out of the card.

Can I update my details after printing the card?

A vCard QR is static, so the encoded details are fixed. If your contact info changes often, point a dynamic QR code at a link (like your link-in-bio page) that you can update any time.
