Features

Everything you need, included

Real-time "just opened" alerts

Get a notification the second your client opens the document — no more guessing whether it landed, got buried, or is sitting unread. First open only by default, or every open if a deal is live.

Page-by-page read analytics

See exactly which pages held their attention, which they skipped, and how long they lingered on each one — so you know what sold them and what to fix before the next send.

Know who read it, not just that someone did

Give each person their own link and every open is already attributed — nothing for them to type. Or ask readers for a name and email before the document opens. Either way, one link sent to three people at a client no longer collapses into one anonymous blur.

Password, expiry date, and pause

Add a password so only the person you told can open it, set a date the link stops working, or pause it in one click when a deal closes. Pages are served through the link itself, so pausing it really does close the document.

First document free, then pay per document

Your first tracked link costs nothing — send it before you decide anything. After that $10 buys 15 tracked documents, about $0.65 each, and they never expire. No monthly seat fee, no plan to cancel, no charge the months you send nothing.

Found a typo? Replace it, keep the link

Upload a corrected PDF and every link you have already sent starts showing it — the same address, no new charge, and you can see which version each person read.

An NDA they accept before it opens

Add a confidentiality notice or NDA and readers accept it before the first page appears. The acceptance is recorded with their name, email and the time — an audit trail you can export.

Free to upload and preview

Your PDF is turned into crisp page images in your own browser — it never leaves your device until you decide to go live. Preview exactly what your client will see before you spend a single credit.

How it works

Up and running in minutes

  1. 1

    Upload your document

Drop in a PDF proposal, pitch deck, or contract. It renders in your browser, so previewing it is free — you decide when to make it live.

  2. 2

Turn it into a tracked link

Generate a share link — free the first time, one credit after that — with an optional password, expiry date or name-and-email gate. Send it by email, WhatsApp, or wherever your client already is; no app, no account for them.

  3. 3

    Watch it get read

Get an alert the moment a person opens it, then see page-by-page read time roll in — so you follow up while you are still top of mind.

Peace of mind

Built to be a safe yes

First one free, then pay per link

Your first tracked document costs nothing. After that, uploading and previewing stays free and you only spend a credit when you turn a document into a live tracked link — $10 covers 15 of them, and they never expire.

Page-by-page insight

See which pages your client lingered on and where they dropped off — the difference between "they opened it" and "they read the pricing page twice".

Alerts you can trust

A notification the moment your document is opened by a person. Link previews from chat apps and inbox scanners are filtered out, so an alert always means someone is actually reading.

Pricing

Simple, honest pricing

Pay as you go
$10for about 15 documents

That works out at roughly $0.65 a document, and the links never expire. No subscription, no seats, and no visit cap that locks a link mid-negotiation. Uploading and previewing a document is always free.

  • An alert the moment a PERSON opens it — link previews filtered out
  • Page-by-page read time, plus how much of it gets read
  • A separate link per person you send it to
  • Replace the document later — same link, no new charge
  • Password, expiry, NDA acceptance and watermarking
  • A fully right-to-left Arabic viewer
  • Credits never expire

FAQ

Questions, answered

How is this different from just emailing a PDF attachment?
A plain attachment is a black box — you have no idea if it was opened, read, or ignored. A tracked link tells you the moment it opens, which pages your client actually read, how long they spent on each one, and whether they came back — so your follow-up is informed instead of a shot in the dark.
How does the pricing work?
Your first tracked document is free — send it and watch it get read before you decide anything. After that it is pay-per-use credits, not a subscription: $10 buys 15 tracked documents, about $0.65 each, and those links never expire. The serious tools in this category charge $45 per person per month, and the free ones cap you at a single user and stop where the useful parts begin. Here the credits do not reset or disappear if you go quiet for a few weeks, and uploading and previewing is always free — you only spend a credit when you generate the live tracked link.
Do I have to pay to upload or preview a document?
No. Your PDF is rendered into page images inside your own browser, so uploading and previewing exactly how your client will see it is free and nothing leaves your device. You only spend a credit at the moment you turn that document into a live, trackable share link.
Does my client need to install anything or create an account?
No. Your client just clicks the link and reads the document in their browser, page by page. There is nothing to install and no account to create. If you switch on the name-and-email gate they will be asked who they are first — that is a choice you make per document, not a signup.
What analytics do I actually see?
A notification the moment the document is opened, plus page-by-page analytics: which pages were viewed, how long was spent on each one, and where your client stopped reading. You also get a read-through figure — the share of the document an average open actually got past — and an optional plain-English read of what the pattern means and how to follow up. Every open is tied to a person if you used named links or the name-and-email step. Automated fetches from chat previews and inbox scanners are listed separately and never counted as reads, and you can export the whole log as a CSV.
Can I fix a mistake after I have sent the link?
Yes, and this is the part most people do not expect. Upload the corrected PDF and the same link starts showing it — every copy you already sent, including individual links to named people, keeps working and updates. There is no new charge, and your analytics record which version each person read, so old reading data never gets silently attached to a new page.
Can I send it to several people and tell them apart?
Yes. Add the people you are sending it to and each one gets their own link. Every open through that link is already attributed to them — nothing for them to type — and you can revoke one person's access without disturbing anyone else's. If you would rather send one link, switch on the name-and-email step instead and readers identify themselves.
Can I put an NDA in front of it?
Yes. Paste your confidentiality notice or NDA and readers accept it before the first page appears. The acceptance is stored with their name, email and the time, and exports with the rest of your log. You can also watermark every page with the reader's own email address — that does not stop a screenshot, but it makes one traceable to a person, which is the part that changes behaviour.
Can I keep a document private or make it expire?
Yes. Add a password, set a date the link stops working, or pause it at any moment. Every page of the document is served through the tracked link itself rather than as a public file, so pausing, expiring or deleting a document genuinely closes it — there is no leftover image URL that keeps working afterwards.
Why do the "opened" alerts not fire when I paste the link into a chat?
Because that is not your client reading. When you paste a link into WhatsApp, Slack, Teams or an email, that platform fetches the page from its own servers within seconds to build a preview, and many inboxes scan links for safety before delivery. Those fetches are recognised, shown to you as automated previews, and never counted as an open or emailed to you — so an alert always means a person.
Can my client read it in Arabic?
Yes. Each document carries the language its reader sees — English or Arabic — and the Arabic viewer is fully right-to-left, from the gate to the page counter. You choose it when you create the document, because you know your client better than any browser setting does.
Can readers download the original file?
Only if you allow it. By default a reader sees the document page by page in their browser and there is no file to forward on. Attach the original PDF and switch downloads on when you want them to be able to keep a copy.

See the moment your work gets read

You spend hours on a proposal, hit send… and then nothing. Did they open it? Did they read past the cover page? Did the price scare them off, or did the email just get buried? Right now you are guessing — and guessing is a terrible way to decide when to follow up.

Document tracking turns that black box into a clear signal. Upload your proposal, pitch deck, or contract as a PDF, and share it as a single tracked link. The moment your client opens it, you get a notification. From there you see exactly which pages they read, how long they spent on each one, and whether they came back for a second look.

Two things that actually change how you sell

Most of what a document-tracking tool shows you is noise. Two things aren't:

  • "Just opened" alerts you can act on. The instant a person opens the document, you know — while the proposal is still fresh in their inbox and you are still top of mind to follow up.
  • Page-by-page read analytics. Not just "opened," but which pages they lingered on and which they skipped past. Four minutes on the pricing page and ten seconds on your case studies tells you exactly what to say when you call.

An alert that means a person

Here is a failure mode most tracking tools never mention. Paste a link into WhatsApp, Slack, Teams or an email, and that platform immediately fetches the page from its own servers to build a little preview card. Plenty of corporate inboxes also scan every link for safety before the message is even delivered.

If a tracker counts those, your phone buzzes with "your client just opened it" while you are still typing the message — and the open that actually mattered, three hours later, is no longer the first. We recognise those automated fetches, list them separately as previews, and never count them as a read. An alert here means a human being is looking at your work.

Know who is reading, and keep out everyone else

Give each person their own link and every open is attributed the moment it happens — nothing for your client to type, and you can revoke one person without disturbing anyone else. Prefer to send a single link? Switch on the name-and-email step instead and readers identify themselves.

For anything sensitive, add a password, an expiry date, an NDA they accept before the first page appears, and a watermark carrying the reader's own address across their own copy. The watermark does not stop a screenshot — nothing does — it makes one traceable to a person, which is the part that actually changes behaviour.

Fix the typo without sending a second link

You send the proposal, then spot the wrong number on page four. Upload the corrected file and the same link starts showing it — every copy already out there, including each named person's own link. No new charge, no awkward "please ignore the last one", and your analytics keep a record of which version each person actually read.

And because every page is served through the tracked link rather than as a public file, pausing, expiring or deleting a document genuinely closes it. There is no leftover image address that keeps working after the deal is done.

Pay per document, not per seat

The serious tools in this category are priced for sales departments — around $45 per person per month, plus visit caps that lock up right when a deal heats up mid-negotiation. That's overkill when you just want to know whether the client you emailed on Tuesday opened your proposal.

The free ones solve it the other way and cap you at a single user, then put the parts you actually needed — knowing who read it, a password, an expiry, an NDA in front of it — behind the same monthly plan you were trying to avoid.

MumenLabs flips both: your first tracked document is free, uploading and previewing is always free, and you only spend a credit to turn a document into a live tracked link. $10 buys 15 tracked documents — about $0.65 each — and they never expire unless you set an expiry yourself. Send four proposals a month and this costs under three dollars a month. You spend it in bursts, the way freelancers and small agencies actually send proposals: heavy some weeks, nothing for a month, no bill either way.

Follow up at exactly the right moment

The real value isn't the dashboard — it's the timing. When you get a notification that your client just opened the proposal and spent four minutes on the pricing page, you know precisely when to pick up the phone, and precisely what to talk about when you do. That's the difference between chasing a deal and closing it.

One link. Any document. Nothing for your client to install.

Upload a PDF and share a clean link by email, WhatsApp, or wherever your client already is. They read it page by page in their browser — nothing to download, no account to create, and the reader's side is available in English or Arabic, right-to-left, whichever you choose for that document.

Start tracking your next proposal, deck, or contract — see for yourself the moment it gets opened, and exactly which pages actually get read.
