What MumenLabs Is — Free Browser Tools and Pages You Publish Once

MumenLabs makes two kinds of thing, and it helps to know which one you are looking at. Some of it is free forever and needs no account. The rest you pay for exactly once, at the moment you publish. There is no subscription anywhere on the platform.

The free tools run in your browser

The free tools — merging and splitting PDFs, compressing images, generating QR codes and barcodes — do their work on your own device. Your file is not uploaded to a server, because there is no server involved: the processing happens in the browser tab you already have open.

That is not a privacy slogan so much as a description of the plumbing, and it has practical consequences. There is no upload wait on a large file. There is no size cap set by somebody's bandwidth bill. There is no watermark, because there is nothing to upsell you to. And a contract or a bank statement never leaves your laptop — which is the difference between "we don't look at your files" and "we couldn't."

The paid pages are paid once

The other half is pages you build for a specific occasion: a wedding invitation with online RSVP, an RSVP form, a link-in-bio page, event tickets with QR check-in, a birthday page.

Building and previewing these is free — you see the finished thing before you decide anything. Publishing is the single paid moment, one flat price for the whole page, and then nothing recurs. Your invitation does not stop working because a card expired eleven months later, and there is nothing to remember to cancel.

One account, one balance

A single MumenLabs account covers everything, and a single balance funds it. You top up when you are about to publish something — payments go through Stripe — and credits do not expire. New accounts start empty on purpose: we would rather not dress a countdown up as a gift.

Why the tools are so narrow

Each tool does one job. "Split a PDF" is its own tool rather than a tab inside a suite, because someone who needs to split a PDF at 11pm does not want to learn a suite first. The catalogue grows the same way — one focused thing at a time, each with its own page and its own guide, and no obligation to use the rest of them.
