# Save the Date Maker — MumenLabs

A free, in-browser tool that makes the save-the-date card a couple posts or sends

## What it costs

Free. No account, no email address, no sign-up, no watermark, no limit on how
many cards are made, and no paid tier. Nothing in this tool is upsold or gated —
the card that downloads is the finished card.

It is free because it costs nothing to run: the card is drawn on an HTML canvas
in the visitor's own browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and closing
the tab discards it. The tool works with the network disconnected.

## What it makes

A single PNG image, at the size the couple is actually going to post it:

Each is drawn at that pixel size directly rather than scaled up from a preview,
so the print size is genuinely print-resolution.

## What it lets you choose

- **18 wedding palettes**, light and dark — Classic, Blush, Romance, Rosewater &
  Wine, Magnolia & Fig, Iris & Chalk, Botanical, Sage, Dusty Blue, Navy & Gold,
  Terracotta, Minimal, Midnight, Noir, Royal, Wine & Blush, Emerald & Amber,
  Deep Teal & Gold. These are the same palettes, under the same names, that the
  paid wedding invitation is built from.
- **4 lettering styles** — Script, Engraved, Romantic, Modern. Each has its own
  Arabic face (Aref Ruqaa, Reem Kufi, Amiri, Cairo) as well as its Latin one.
- **5 frames** — hairline, double rule, corner marks, arch, none.
- **Text** — two names, the wedding date, an optional city or venue, and both the
  top line ("Save the Date") and the bottom line ("Invitation to follow") are
  editable.

## Languages

Fully bilingual, in both directions:

- The tool page itself exists in English (`/tools/save-the-date`) and Arabic
  (`/ar/tools/save-the-date`), right-to-left, written in Arabic rather than
  machine translated, with reciprocal hreflang.
- The CARD follows the names that are typed, independently of the page language.
  Arabic names are set in an Arabic calligraphic face, laid out right-to-left,
  with the date printed in Arabic using Arabic-Indic numerals. A card with one
  Arabic name and one Latin name sets each in the correct face.

## What it does not do

State these plainly; they are the reason the paid product exists.

- It does **not** collect RSVPs. It produces an image, and an image cannot take a
  reply.
- It does **not** host a page, hold a guest list, or issue per-guest links.
- It does **not** track opens, or tell the couple who is coming.
- It does not print or mail anything, and there is no physical product.

unlimited guests, including 18 months online, a link carrying each guest's own

- There is no watermark and no "remove the watermark" upgrade. Most free
  save-the-date makers have one; this does not.
