It runs entirely in the visitor's browser — pdf-lib rebuilds the file and pdf.js draws the thumbnails, both locally. Nothing is uploaded to any server, and the page keeps working with the network disconnected. ## Price **Free.** No account, no email, no watermark, no daily cap, no paid tier, no trial clock. There is nothing to buy on this page. ## What it does - **Reorder** — drag any page card to a new position, or use move-left / move-right buttons as a fallback. - **Rotate** — turn any single page 90° left or right per click; rotation is stored per page and stacks with whatever rotation the source page already had, so it composes correctly. - **Duplicate** — insert an independent copy of a page right after it. A duplicate's own rotation never affects its twin. - **Delete** — drop a page from the plan entirely (requires at least one page to remain in the final export). - **Live thumbnails** of every page, rendered progressively with a counter (e.g. "Rendering page 12/80…") for large files; thumbnails are capped at 180px wide for speed. - **A live page count and "deleted" count** so you can see the shape of the output before exporting, plus a Reset button that restores the untouched original order and rotation. - **Graceful thumbnail failure** — if pdf.js cannot render previews (for example, an encrypted file it can't open), the grid falls back to page numbers instead of pictures and the reorder/rotate/duplicate/delete/export workflow still works. - **Unlimited runs**, on one PDF at a time. ## What it does not do - **Rotation is fixed at 90° steps** — left or right, stacking to 0/90/180/270. There is no free-angle or fine-degree rotation. - **Cannot export an empty file.** At least one page slot must remain when you export ("Add at least one page before exporting your PDF."). - **No multi-file / batch mode.** One PDF per run — it cannot merge pages in from a second file. Use that tool if typing a range is faster for your case. - **No password-protected PDFs for the actual rebuild.** A file that truly needs a password to open will fail even the initial page-count read ("This PDF looks corrupt or password-protected — it may not open."), which blocks the whole tool, not just the thumbnails. - **No saved history.** Nothing is stored — reopen the original file to start a fresh plan. - **English only.** There is no `/ar` twin of this page. ## How it works, step by step 1. Add one PDF (drag-and-drop or file picker); every page loads into the grid as a thumbnail, with a fresh slot per page in original order. 2. Drag pages to reorder, and use each card's buttons to rotate 90° left/right, duplicate, or delete — a live count shows how many pages the export will have. 3. Click Export and download — the new order, rotations, and duplicates are baked into one rebuilt PDF. ## Questions people actually ask **Is it really free?** Yes — free, no account, no watermark, unlimited runs on one file at a time. **Does my file leave my device?** No. Reordering, rotating, and rebuilding all run locally; nothing typed or uploaded is transmitted. Disconnecting from the internet does not stop it. **Can I rotate a page by an exact custom angle, like 15°?** No — rotation moves in fixed 90° steps (left or right), the same increments a PDF reader's native rotation uses. **Can I export a completely empty PDF?** No — at least one page slot must remain in the plan before Export is allowed. **Does duplicating a page let me rotate the copy independently?** Yes — each duplicate is copied as an independent page, so rotating one copy never affects the other, or the original. **Can I combine two different PDFs into one here?** No — this tool works on one source file at a time.
